Second semester is underway, guys. Hope everybody has an awesome MLK day; I spent yesterday hiking around before burning a few big 11-foot Christmas trees. Those things have a SPECTACULAR flame.

Been just kinda workin' on computers playing lots of FF14 and hangin' out with some friends when they aren't at work. I'm thinking of opening my own computer repair business, would be pretty awesome.

Talking about computers, I'm planning on building my own. I'm going full-on PC gaming from now on.

I'm torn between building a gaming pc or buying a good laptop that would be useful for college as well.

Start with friends and family and build up a local reputation, Zach! Sounds like a pretty good business idea -- not everybody knows how to maintain/fix a computer.

Honestly Raurg, go for the laptop depending how close you are to college. My laptop's been going for 2 years now and still seems to handle games fairly well. Starting to get rough around the edges, though..

I'm so excited to get a new laptop for college -- it'll be better at running games than my current dinosaur currently is. B|

Combat Improvements beta is now out. They're really cleaning up the EoC this time. Special attacks are coming back as well. Check the video out.

Also, I would just like to mention on the combat servers you can play on the members worlds for free. We should all come on and go do some GWD!

Hmm, this update looks interesting. If I had the free time, I would probably get back into Runescape. Might get mems in the summer, but idk since I'll be pretty busy.

Been a bit empty lately how's everyone doing?

Well. School is cancelled for the next two days due to winter weather. I'll be heading up to North Carolina for a snowboarding trip with my fraaans this weekend. It's gonna be pretty awesome!

A very chill second semester is kicking in down here in Roswell. What's going on with you guys?

School has been busy off and on. I have regionals for archery in a week or two, not really sure since they keep getting rescheduled due to the weather. I've been playing some dota when I have the time, and I'm looking into a new rts game called 0AD (http://play0ad.com/). It's still in alpha, but looks like fun.

Well, snowboarding turns out to be pretty fuckin sweet.. and another pull for me to head off to App State for college next year. On the second day I fell backwards and now my right wrist is all sorts of fucked up. Hurts like a bitch and it's all bruised and swollen.. I don't really get hurt very much and have a pretty high pain tolerance, but I might need to go get an xray now that all the fun and games is done.

I am busy from 8 am to midnight at least three days a week and the other days are only marginally better.
This semester shall be the death of me.
Luke, definitely get that checked out if it doesn't get better in a couple days.

Hah, my semester has been fine -- we've missed seven school days for snow so far with more potentially on their way.

There are certainly benefits to growing up a southerner.

That sounds brutal Kai. Do you have a job/internship thrown in there, or is it primarily school work?

Come to think of it, I'm up to midnight or later with homework... <6 hours of sleep every weekday and not much better on the weekends haha.

Sleep is important, my friends. If you can't get enough sleep overnight, make sure to get enough during class!

I have Study Hall, which they refuse to let me switch out of for a credit class. I just sleep in there, best time of the school day.

I had three study halls my senior year because of all my credits from extra classes.

Shit was GLORIOUS.

I'm limited to one study hall for one year in high school.

I'm taking 4 AP classes this year.. our school schedule has a two-hour 4th period where everybody eats lunch for 1/4 of that time (A, B, C, and D lunches), has a study hall for 1/4 of the period, and then has a regular class for the other hour. My college math class is 4th period on Tuesdays and Thursdays only, so I get two hours of freetime in the middle of school on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. It's suuuch a nice setup.

My school's archery team qualified for state, which is a big deal since this is the first year archery is recognized as a varsity sport. Anyway, just checking in with you all. Anything interesting going on for you guys?

Prom is next Friday.. Senior year is rapidly coming to a close; in a month's time it will be Spring Break! I'm VERY ready to graduate and get on out..

I don't know if they do letters for archery, though I would hope so.

You already have prom? My school, and the schools around us, don't have prom until mid April.

We used to have prom in May but by then seniors were too far mentally graduated that they partied too hard and everybody in the whole grade got into trouble..

So now they do it in March. Keeps us in-check with the liquor.

I'm sure those May prom parties were pretty crazy.. Shame some class somewhere up the line fucked it up for the rest of us.
