I downloaded Dark Souls last week when it was free with Xbox Gold. It is a merciless game, but I love the combat system and storytelling. The voices are creepy as fuck. Each and every one of them.
I know Kai plays Dark Souls; the two of us talked about it for a bit last night.
Aside from that, I love games like GTA:Online where you can pick it up and play it. I'm gonna go ahead and call it here: There will be a GTA MMO at some point in the near future, maybe even the next GTA.
Who needs a shoddy campaign when you could develop a gigantic map - put it somewhere like Texas - and 5 different gangs, each of which controls an entire city. The cities have a good 5-7 minute drive from each point, and you put your writers in control of each gang. Rockstar can still manipulate the storyline this way, and it gives those brilliant motherfuckers so many different options. Imagine a huge fucking GTA war out in the middle of a desert. That's a game I'd play. Rockstar better get on it.
Yeah, anyways, that's about all I'm playing right now. I'd be SO down to play GTA:O with some of you folks - I play on the 360.
