Well, Jagex updated the graphics today. Also with the upcoming combat rework, I figured I'd make this thread to keep you guys updated with it and the deterioration of the game we all loved.

Now they just look....bad sure they didnt downgrade? cause not even the pixel quality is better let alone the actually overall look of things.

The hands look terrible, the cape looks vomit-worthy.

Wat. Fingers.

I don't really see any difference at this point. I found the new characters to be too much to look at at once. My eye can't take the character as one continuous entity. The character splits up and I always just find my eye staring straight at the center-point of the chest.

Really bad composition..

Try focusing on the head, for example. Your eye is drawn right to the center of the chest every time.

I can focus on any part of the body, its just say if I refresh the page the first point I look at is the lil thing on his shirt zipper or w/e that is.

The combat update is coming out of November 20th. They also opened up the beta for f2p. I hopped on it but found it to be a bit confusing, but it looks like f2p is getting some new gear - mainly in way of mage armor. Also, they had blue d'hide. Anyway, to get free gear for testing, go to Lumbridge castle.

I also tried it. I don't know if some of that new stuff that was available to us on the beta was actually new members equipment that they only made f2p for beta. It seems kinda cool. Kinda confusing. And the new starting combat level will be 4, by the way. It's 2+defense level+highest stat. So I think I'll be 181 or 182.

There's a new bind system for dungeoneering. You can bind ten total items, then use up to five at one time. The new levels for this are:

20 - two bound items
50 - three bound items
90 - four bound items
120 - five bound items

As you can see, I have all three combat classes bound and set to load. The easiest way to get the items is to do a frozen floor on complexity one.

It's really confusing to me. So we can only bind ten items, and the milestones let us use more loadouts?

The activity remaining on our forums in overwhelming, I guess I'm not helping haha, and Runescape was slowly ruined after dungeoneering, and it's only getting worse. Can't really judge the new system due to the fact I haven't been following it or playing it but if you don't like it I can't imagine any of us would either.

League of Legends anyone? LOL

Speaking of dungeoneering, they have insanely jacked up the amount of xp you get for solo dungeons and every boss I have encountered (in Abandoned 2 as well) I have 5 hit. Granted that is in solo, idk what its like in a group yet (maybe join me Very Happy ).

I tried it out. I'm not loving it but I think there some nice new stuff. Blue d'hide and magic bows for f2p is pretty good. The magic shieldbow (replacement for longbow) has better stats than my sighted maple longbow so.. it's pretty useless now. And the sighted magic longbow is members :p. There's some new magic stuff but I'm gonna keep mine because the new stats and stuff are really confusing and I can't tell which is better. And they made staves two-handed, I think. So I can't wield my gravite staff with my tome of frost anymore, which sucks. The abilities aren't bad, in my opinion. The ultimate abilites are pretty useful. But the action bar doesn't have to be just for combat abilites. You can put food there and other resources so you can just press a button and use it. So overall, once you look into it, it's not too bad.

I'm liking the binding system for Dungeoneering. The bosses are indeed way too easy. I'm getting level 10s every time.
