note: I based this on F2P because we mostly have clan events on F2p servers.
If you know me, you know I love to PK. With the release of the wilderness coming I decided to do the honors of making a guide to the basics of PKing.
Knowing the Wilderness First of all, know the Wilderness. Literally study up on this place. It could be life or death.
First: Multi combat zones
http://www.runehq.com/guide.php?type=map&id=0385There is your first worry, don't stray into one unless you're prepared.
Gear We're not as picky as you think, our true only requirement is the Team-47 clan cape.
There are suggestions though on what to wear.
Ranged Gear: This is easy, we just need you to wear some green dragonhide, maybe a rune full helm, maple shortbow, power amulet, and arrows. We suggest adamant arrows, but mithril will do if you can't buy them. (seeing as they aren't as buyable as other arrows).
Melee Gear: This usually depends on how much you are willing to risk. If you are rich and don't really mind losing a rune set, then bring full rune. For I, this is my gear. Green D'hide body, Rune platelegs, Rune full helm, Rune Scimitar, Rune 2H (optional), and a strength amulet.
Mage gear: Usually we don't mage, but if you do want to we reccomend: Wizard robe set,Fire/earth/water/air Staff, and a power amulet. Bring runes as powerful as blasts, please.
All: Snare runes. We need to freeze our target before they run away.
Strategies(send all your strategies on this topic by posting!)
Prayers: Don't worry about your reputation, if you are being piled protect pray. It is a severe thing if you don't pray while clan PKing. Also use the appropriate boosting prayers to kill our targets faster.
The Bone Brooch: The Bone Brooch is an excellent item to PK with, as you can DD in one spot and look like just one pile of bones. Really nice to blend in.
TermsDD: Death Dot, all players stand in one spot to look like only one player.
TB: Teleblock, a spell that prevents players from teleporting
Pile: Clan attacks one player at a time.
Fall in/FI: Falling in means to follow the leader.
